Draft Lab Exclusives are small batches that allow our team to experiment with different ingredients and processes. With a limited number of releases throughout the year and will ONLY be available at select bars and restaurants. Primarily focused on experimental IPAs and lager beers, each release will be unique with the ability to provide feedback directly to our brew team!

Release #2 – Lagerbier der Festival 5.4% ABV
Draft Lab Exclusive release #2 highlights our Festbier, which we brewed for this program and to feature at our annual Festival der Lagerbier. Continue to celebrate with us our love of lagers with this exclusive release, also in collaboration with some of our best friends in the industry.
Like the beers served at Oktoberfest in Munich, we brewed this beer in as traditional a way as we know how, with a triple decoction, spunding for natural carbonation, and lagered for 6 weeks.
We used German Pilsner, Munich, and Vienna Malts, Hallertau Mittelfruh hops, and yeast that originated in the oldest brewery in Munich. It pours a deep gold with moderate sweet malt flavor and low hop bitterness.
